Day of biodiversity
Today is the International Day of Biodiversity. Biodiversity is the collective name for the wide variety of microorganisms and animal and plant species in the world. Recent studies conclude that already tens of thousands of species disappeared over the last three decades. Some of them are crucial for the circle of life. There are a lot of small things you can do helping to preserve the biodiversity of our planet. For instance, plant flowers for the endangered bee population, stop using or recycle plastic to save the inhabitants of the ocean.
