Today is the World Day Against Child Labor. There are still 200 million kids under 14 working in fields or factories. This scandalous phenomenon exists partly due to our hunger for cheap products. If you buy a T-shirt for a few dollars, you can almost be sure that the cotton has been picked under lousy working conditions and processed in a factory without proper safety features. Often by children or young people, because you can pay them even less than adults. Check out the producers and let the stores you frequent know you do not want to be part of this worldwide abuse.
