In the colder regions of our world we burned billions of cubic meters of gas and a multitude of oil products to keep us warm in winter over the past few centuries. Since 1902, the invention of the Air Conditioning was added to cool us down in summer. Slowly but surely, we are depleting the fossil fuels that took nature millions of years to form. And for what? It is now finally possible to build CO2 neutral houses. They use geothermal heat, the sun, the sky or the wind. Moreover, good insulation ensures that we do not heat the street unnecessarily. We just have to hurry with the implementation of programs that get us off the gas. (btw: even heavy curtains help a bit).
